Elk Audio OS + RPi 4 8gb + ElkPi HAT?

Hi guys !

I’m having a blast prototyping my dub sound system digital preamp with my Pi 4 and a HifiBerry DAC+ ADC Pro.

I would like to have more than 2 input channels, 4 or 6 would be perfect.
I have seen that the ElkPi HAT has more audio I/O but I can’t find anyone stating that it works on a Pi 4 using Elk Audio OS 1.0.0.

Has anyone tried that ?
If it works I think I will get the files and get myself one built soon :slight_smile:

Hi leozor and welcome to the forums. Nice to hear you’re having fun with it.
Though, as ElkPi is discontinued we never updated the drivers for the DAC (it’s a different one from the HifiBerry and uses some hacks to get more than 2 channels). So unfortunately the ElkPi will not work with Elk Audio OS 1.0.0 on a Pi4.
