I know that Aloha isn’t still released to the market. Are there some indications about the hardware requirements? Will it be designed to run specifically on the Elk-Pi Hat or just as well on the HiFiBerry Pi for example?

in terms of “HW requirements”, Aloha will work on any Elk system with a Gigabit Ethernet connection (and better if one for which we can have a RTnet driver).
We have been using a variety of HW systems for the initial tests (including RPi4 + HiFiBerry) but in this phase of the closed beta we provide the hardware ourselves. Check the Aloha website to sign up for the closed beta.
