Problems connecting to ElkOS

I’ve just put ElkOS onto a Pi 4 with Hifiberry DAC+ADC. However, I am having serious difficulties connecting to it with ssh. I first used connmanctl to set up a wifi connection, and put in an old password instead of the current one - can’t find a way of persuading connmanctl to ask me for another password. Connected with a network cable and tried ssh with PuTTY (current version), and got “Couldn’t agree a host code algorithm” which in about 20 years of using PuTTY I’ve never seen before. Presumably I’d get this even if I got the wifi password issue sorted.

Does anyone have any suggestions for resolving either of these issues?

In case this should help anyone else, I started again with a clean burn of ElkOS and put in the right wireless password. PuTTY gave the same result, so I tried KiTTY, a fork of PuTTY, and that worked. Now to try out more stuff.
